Western Canada Championship Rules:

  1. 2 pts for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.  
  1. Teams play each other twice.
  1. Teams must list their representative panel and players must be paid up, registered members of the WCD Clubs (per the by-laws). WCD Player Registrations and Club Fees are due April 1, 2007. This representative panel must be the same panel that plays out the remainder of the tournament.  
  1. Due to pitch size requirements, the tournament-designated number of players per team will apply to WCD games.
  1. A team must field a regulation (see Rule 3) team with no more than two players less than the tournament designated team total.  (i.e. if the tournament is 11-a-side then a team must have at least 9-nine players or the game will be forfeited.)
  1. If a team fails to produce a team or the designated number of players, then that team will be considered to have automatically lost that tie by 5-5 (20pts).
  1. A table, similar to the one shown, shall be posted at the end of a days play to show the Western Canadian Championship standings at that time.
  1. If teams are tied on points their position will be determined by the following means:
    • their record against each other (if both teams lost a game then it goes to their record in the next three bullets against each other)
    • their points difference (total score for minus total score against)
    • their total score for
    • their total points (over the bar) for
  2. Rather than deciding the Championship on the criteria above.  If 1st place is undecided on Points, then the following Play-off scenario's come into effect:

        3 Teams Tied:         "1st",decided as set out in Rule 8 (above), advances. (Bye)
                                          Other 2 teams play-off, 5 mins a side. (Semi)
